Seoul Palace Korean BBQ Review

Was shock that Seoul Palace Korean BBQ signboard were very small ><

Having a hard time located it haha!!

A few snapshots of the environment :

I try to google for their menu, found it but no price stated ><

Here for all of you who are interested to know their price!!

My orders :

Green Tea RM2

Taste more like plain water to me.

Taste : 2/10

Dolsot Bibim-baq -RM20

Nothing special about it, is just ok.

Kinda disappointed with it because some bloggers said it was nice.

Was expecting something..hmm..

Taste : 5/10

Banchan were just below average....

Some were too sweet for my liking

Taste : 2/10

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO GO Bulgogi Brothers !!

Their Banchan were of top quality and taste delicious !! :D

Chili Samgyeop-Sal - RM30

Sliced pork belly with Korean Hot Chili Spice

This is a disappointment, it doesn't taste nice at all.

Though the chili paste were thick but there is not much of a taste/flavour.

Taste : 2/10

LOOK AT THE THICK LAYER OF FAT !!

For a price of RM30 with such a small serving, it should have served a better quality of
sliced pork belly!!

Dduk-Bboggi - RM

Spicy Rice Cake

Ate nicer one before :(

Taste : 4/10

Steamed Egg- RM5

Not bad, the egg was just right.

Taste : 6/10

Kun Mandu- RM12

Taste so so....

as you can see from the picture, my dumplings were quite overcook.

I can smell burnt smell.

Hae- Jang-Guk -RM20

Spicy Vegetable soup with pork bone

It taste salty :(

Meat not tender.

Taste : 5/10

Kimchi-Jeon -RM30

Pancake with sliced pork & kimchi

It taste smokey !!

They have overcooked it..some part were black/brownish..

Taste : 2/10

I wouldn't come here again !!!

Feeling extra disappointment because I was treating someone a birthday dinner treat and it doesn't taste nice at all, sorry :(

I will bring you HERE on your next birthday ;)

Best Regards,
Elena.

  1. agree with the somewhat disappointment of Seoul Palace. Why:
1). It is not the normal expected korean BBQ - they BBQ for you. Spoiled the fun of this type of pleasant experience that you pay for . When the manger was asked, wishy washy answer
2).The place in Puchong is not easy to find and NO one bothered to answered the mobile phone
number given. When we also try to call the main office number, a foreigner ( indian origin ? ) answered and told us there is no Puchong branch as advertised. To our horror but it does exist
3). All the workers even the manager when we visited are foreigners ( no prize for guessing who is cooking your korean food. Definitely not local, let alone korean)
Can only say for a Korean chain that much advertised, bit disappointing that it fails to fully convey the normally nice Korean food experience.
