Double Boil Chinese Pear with Red Dates Plus Wolf-berries Recipe ! Easy & Good for Health, Give it a Try !

Hello Peeps !!

Is been a long time since I didn't update this blog..

Been so busy in my studies especially with my Japanese as it had been occupied most of my free time available.

Studying a new language is tough but once you able to speak in Japanese with your course mate, the sense of proudness over yourself is overwhelming *tears* aren't kidding !

Back to the main topic! With so many late nights, lack of sleep, stress and bla bla...
These eventually will bring you down with black panda eye or even reduce your immune system against viruses.

In short, is time to give back some good nutrients to your Body !

Benefits of Double Boil Pear - it nourish your lungs and ease of dry cough
Those of you who have some coughing going on... Give this a try !

Chinese Wolfberry a.k.a Gou Qizi - It helps to nourishes and brighten the eyes, moisten lungs and enriches Yin. In Chinese medicine fields, Chinese Wolfberry is used to treat sore lower back, anaemia and vision problems

Red Dates- helps to build up yangqi which mean warm the half of yin-yang balance. It helps to strengthen spleen and stomach. Nourish and produce blood as well as tranquillise the mind.

These are the ingredients you need :

1. Chinese Pear x 1

2. Red dates x5

3. Wolf-berry ( just a handful amount)

4. Bowl of water ( roughly about 350ml) serving of 2 standard cup.

Optional :

This is a Cotten Tea Bag, you can stuff all the ingredients inside.
It is very useful because I don't have to filter the drinks !! :D

Put the Bowl of water into the multipurpose electric cooker. And let it boil.

Remember to remove the seed from the red dates because it would caused too much unwanted heat into your body.

Pack all the red dates into the tea bag.

Next slice the Pear and pack into the Tea Bag.

Lastly add all the Pack Ingredients into the Glass Bowl.

Double Boil for at least 2 hours.

I usually let is boil for 4 hours. hehe.. taste sweeter !

Note : Only add the wolf-berries 30 minutes before serving. Do not boil the wolf-berries for more than an 1 hour.

Ta Da !! My Lovely Double Boil Chinese Pear with Red Dates and Wolf-berries !!

Hope you all would enjoy this drinks as I do very much !

Is Easy !! Try and make it for your friends or loved ones, they will really appreciate it :)

Wish you best of Luck for your assignment and Study Break !

Menya Musashi Samurai Ramen @ Isetan, 1 Utama

Probably you have heard of this quite well-known Ramen Shop in One Utama.

Some said, its the best... while some said its isn't anymore !

Here I come to give my opinions to any of you that would want to try or eat it again.

For those who are new to Menya Musashi, it is actually very popular in Japan. It is named after a legendary samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, who is famous for its double sword style.

Here is a brochure outside of Isetan Food Paradise entrance.

Dinning Area, nice interior.

No enough flavour?? You can add on Fried Garlic and Chilli Pepper.

They provide you a good quality Bamboo chopstick here. You don't have to smoother it.

I order a side dish, Sushi Roll ! taste like sushi you can get it from Jusco Supermarket.

Taste : 2.8/5

Sushi Q salmon roll is so much tastier !!

There are 3 flavours to choose for your soup-based ramen, namely, Shiro (onion oil), Kuro (special fried shallot with garlic oil) and Musashi (special homemade chilli oil).

I order two types of flavour soup based Kuro and Musashi.

This is Musashi Soup based. For me it doesn't taste spicy at all.

Ramen Texture : 4/10
Pork : 7/10
Egg : 9/10
Soup : 3.5/10
Price : 2/10

Overall : 5.1/10

Though the ramen indeed have the freshly made taste compare to those packet noodle ones, other than that there is nothing to say about.

The soup base it nice, I drank quite a lot AND I END UP drinking Lots of WATER !! perhaps it contain too much of MSG????? :(

The only thing I like is the half egg and the pork. The egg is perfectly made, that the egg white and yolk is so soft enough but not raw. Very good skills.

The pork belly taste nice, well marinated.

Overall, the price is indeed expensive, RM 30 for each bowl.

In my opinion, is not worth to go. I rather eat something else like Wantan Mee....

A Burger that is Way better than myBurgerLab@Seapark 2013 !!

I have finally tried the famous myBurgerLab and ohh...boy... I was totally disappointed :(

This make me miss Mr Pig Burger so much !! This is the link that I have previously posted on Mr Pig Handmade Burger.

Perhaps my expectation is just too high on myBurgerLab.

I order Spicy Hawaii 2.0 Chicken Burger (mild), the problem is it, it stated that my patty was a grilled patty!! But when i tasted it, it taste only 10% grilled. For the balance 90% it taste more like steam chicken rather than a juicy grilled chicken. Total damage RM 15 for a burger T.T

After I finished my meal, a lady from myBurgerLab staff approached me and ask me how was the meal. I replied her that it was just ok. She asked why? I told her about my opinion about the patty.

Her replied was oh.. she responded by explaining the chicken patty was actually being sort like "smoothen" it (I don't really get it) before it was grilled. She did admit that the patty was only grilled awhile though. So isn't that become a halfway grilled chicken patty instead??

For those who know about it, please explain it to me!!  :/

Due to the fact that I miss Mr Pig Handmade Burger too much, my friend actually bought Mr Pig Handmade Burger Patty and brought it all the way to Kuala Lumpur from Kuching. *felt so lovely*

Is time to make a replica of Mr Pig Burger !!!!

Firstly, you will need the following ingredients :

Gardenia Bread or any other brand

Cheese Slices and BBQ sauce

Butter or Margarine

Most important ingredients the MR PIG PATTIES both chicken and beef!!

Firstly, add butter into the non-stick pan

**Sizzling in process**

Wait till the patties turn slightly brown and its done!

Spread your egg widely

Add the cooked patties, one chicken and one beef patty. Add the slice cheese in between the patties.

Try to wrap it up with the omelette

Add BBQ sauce and put the bread in between the patties ! Walo ~!!
IS DONE !! YUMMY !!

Even-though this is just a plain bread, not crayon colour nor charcoal colour, the main ingredient is still the most crucial part! The Patties are just so juicy :D

Thanks to MrPigHandmadeBurger you have make my day :D

Goodbye myBurgerlab and Burger Kaw Kaw :P
