My weight lose diary #2 : Not losing weight problem

To tell you the truth, is been a struggle for me to lose weight these days.
Even though I have been spending hours in the gym, attending fitness class everyday and personal training, my weight still stay the same T.T

For the past 5 weeks, I have only managed to lose 1kg.
I felt sad and disappointed. Had I not cut down enough on my carbohydrate? or my burning fat body hormones are not working :(

I was at the struggle point that I decided to send an email to Sunway Dietetics & Nutritionist Services about their "Lean Programme". In my email, I have also wrote about my difficult journey in losing weight and asked them for their advise whether do I need to seek a dietician.

Here is the reply that I have gotten from them:

We have to look into these few broad factors:
1. the intensity of your exercise and your duration of each exercise.
2. the current amount of food intake in comparison to your actual nutrition requirement.
3. underlying medical condition or medication that can interfere with weight loss
4. realistic short term goal and long term goal setting.

They advise me to consult their dietician. So before I start another bold step to solve my weight problem, I have decided that I should give myself another chance to be my own dietician. *not much $$$*

I give myself a 5 days trial period.
I am going to stop eating rice completely and eat smaller meal portion for 5 days.

Here is my brief food and exercise diary:

Monday

Tea time: half boil egg, quarter of dragon food and one small apple

Lunch: one medium size apple, 4 table spoons of oats, 6 pieces of dry blueberries with 70ml of fresh milk and green tea.
Tea break: steamed egg with button mushroom
Dinner: fish, vegetable and one bowl of miso soup
Supper: one small piece of dark chocolate

Exercise: Fast Fit class and 3.5km interval run

Thursday

THE RESULT IS I HAVE LOST 1.7kgs!!! :D

My waistline had become smaller and I look slimmer *feeling blessed*

I will be continuing my diet plan and at the same time I will keep all of you updated again on my progress !

Lastly, a picture of myself :)

Till then, stay fit and healthy !

PS:
Please do not follow my diet plan accordingly as this is tailor for myself.
My advise is to eat smaller portion and avoid carbs especially rice.
Most importantly, the moment that you felt that your stomach is producing gastric juice, is a sign that you are overly hungry, please go ahead and eat something or else you will end up in the emergency room!

Elena

GO Noodle House @ Jaya One Review

I always looking forward to dine in this restaurant on the weekends.

The noodle soup is one of the best I have ever eaten before !

Is a must to visit !

If you like to add wine into your soup, this is the right place for you :D

(Restaurant sign board)

As you can see, there is a line up of small wine bottles placed on the shelves.

You can purchased a 3 years old wine bottle at RM29.90 each for an extra boost on your soup.

You can either leave the wine bottle on the shelf with your name written on it or bring it home.

Below is the example :

Varieties of spices

I like this chilli sauce very much. Delicious :D

Warning:super spicy!

Grouper fish slice noodle in Spicy Soup (14.50)

I like the spiciness of the soup!

Slurping noodle together with the special chilli sauce made me feel thrill !

Unfortunately, there is only a few slices of fish.

Pork belly noodle (RM10.90)

Generous amount of pork slices !

Delicious soup base! My friend actually drank almost all the soup!

Although I didn't purchase the wine bottle, to add wine into the soup but I can predict that it would go well with the soup :D

Overall is a wonderful meal :)

Can't wait to visit here again!

My weight lost diary #1

Good Evening everyone :)

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted any updates. Sorry about that >.< *lazy*

Last summer was a total failure for me. I bought a Celebrity Fitness one month trial pass from Groupon. I went for almost all the classes available in the morning, but I didn’t lose any weight at all! It was depressing for me because I felt that all my effort was wasted. I have no idea what I have done wrongly. I maintained a healthy diet with home cooked food, cutting down on carbs, oily food, etc.

This time, I’ll challenge myself again! I am now officially a Celebrity Fitness member! Besides that, I have enrolled myself in 12 sessions of Personal Training. *fingers crossed*
Hope it works :S

It’s been 4 weeks with Celebrity Fitness and I have successfully lost 1kg so far. *hurray*

Those early morning classes and training paid off! Although it’s just a small figure, I hope to achieve better results in the near future!! I have to keep telling myself to be patient ><

Story of how I have gained so much weight:

The stress and pressure to score well in my final year had lead to my binge eating. During the revision and exam month, I would indulge in what most would consider *unhealthy food* like wantan mee, curry mee, milk tea, pizza, fried chicken and so on. I didn’t regret eating all those food at all because I was so stressed at the time; I couldn’t be bothered much about any other issue such as gaining weight, though I must admit that it was one of the worst eating habits I have ever had.

After my final year was over, I courageously weighed myself and found that I have gained 4kgs!
Omgawwwww…… It’s time to take 3 months off to repair the damage that I have caused my body.

My daily routine for now is heading to the gym every morning. Celebrity Fitness has many awesome classes such as ABT (Abs, Butt and Thighs), Body Combat, Peloton, RPM and many more!

I met lots of wonderful friends in the gym!
Warning: Don’t play around with the aunties in the gym; they’re fit, strong, and tough.
I can’t even compare myself to them; I’m so “soft”

Here is a picture of myself after 4 weeks with Celebrity Fitness :)

I took this picture while I was in the dressing room ! hehe..

Will keep all of you updated again!

Till then, stay fit and healthy :)
